Welcome to our wedding celebration!
When Marylanders voted to acknowledge marriage equality in November 2012, we were filled with tears of joy and excitement. Then in June of 2013, section 3 of DOMA was overturned (thanks to the perseverance of our hero, Edie Windsor), which now means that all married couples regardless of gender are allowed access to 1138+ federal protections that were not previously available. Finally... after being together for over 13 lovely years, we are proud to say that we are able to tie the knot and have our marriage fully recognized on a federal level.
We are thrilled to share this highly anticipated and joyful event with our beloved family and dearest friends!
